Vahé Vartzbed began his watchmaking career in 2009, after completing a Master's in Management at the Geneva School of Economics and Management. He started at Roger Dubuis, working first in Dubai and later from Switzerland.
From 2015 to 2020 he was Sales Manager for Europe and Head of Haute Horlogerie at Girard-Perregaux, before moving to Greubel Forsey in 2020 to lead sales across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. He joined HYT as General Manager in August 2023 and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in July 2024.
In November 2025 Vartzbed was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kerbedanz, effective 17 November, with a mandate to build a selective network of specialist retailers and grow the Maison's presence among collectors while staying close to its bespoke, symbolic approach to haute horlogerie.
